Jaguar's RSR XKR GT2 Back on the Prowl

A little something to get Jaguar fans' blood racing: Jaguar will campaign a single Jaguar RSR XKR GT2 at the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans in France. It's the company's official return to the event for the first time since the mid-1990s.

The car has been jointly developed by Jaguar and Michigan-based RSR and will also be campaigned in this season's American Le Mans Series (ALMS), which starts at Sebring on March 20. Jaguar has the most successful record of any British manufacturer, with seven wins between 1953 and 1990.

The XKR will be driven by Jaguar RSR team boss Paul Gentilozzi, Scott Pruett and Marc Goossens.

"We are delighted the ACO has granted us entry in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans," said Gentilozzi. "It is a race that is held dearly in the hearts of motorsport fans across the world, and for Jaguar to be racing again is something special. Spirits will be high around Jaguar's return to Le Mans but we must remember the incredibly high level of competition. A podium place in our category will not fall into our hands. Jaguar Secures #1 Position for Customer Satisfaction from JD Power for Second Year Running

Jaguar, a premier automobile maker, has won #1 position for Customer Satisfaction with Dealer Service from J D Power and Associates. This is the second consecutive year that this company has been awarded this position by J D Power.

This award is given based on the responses 87,302 owners and lessees gave between January and April 2008. These responses were gathered from owners of 2005-07 model years of this vehicle.

Among the parameters on which these respondents chose their favorite vehicle were service litigation, service advisor, in-dealership experience, service delivery, service quality and user friendly service. This study, called the Customer Service Index (CSI) Study, is considered a yardstick for customer satisfaction automobile brands give their consumers.

Jaguar feels this is a vindication of their high level of product quality and service, team work and commitment to customers.
